Ryan Thompson dba Pro Solar Hawaii's lawsuit update

I just want to keep this journal updated for all the followers from the start.

On 4/23/2018 through my attorney I filed what is basicly a motion to dismiss Ryan Thompson dba Pro Solar Hawaii's lawsuit against me in part, for this very blog. Maybe you saw the article in the newspaper about It? If not, see my previous post.

On the topic of the newspaper article. I would again like to say "maholo nui loa" to everyone that has offered me an enormous amount of Aloha. The generous support has humbled me beyond the words I have at my disposal to express it. I have learned that the aloha spirit is strong here on the big island of Hawaii. Those of us that are fortunate enough to live here, truly do/should understand why this is paradise.

Stay tuned to learn what happens next in Ryan Thompson dba Pro Solar Hawaii's lawsuit against me.

Being sued by Pro Solar Hawaii made local paper

Pro Solar Hawaii suing me did become a story in the local newspaper. Here is a chance to see why. Below you will find the link to the story "solar contractor sues former customer to remove blog". I don' need to say much about Pro Solar Hawaii's response. It speaks for itself.
Pro Solar Hawaii sues me to remove my blog.

I do want to thank everyone that has offered support. I do greatly appreciate it. If you are a former Pro solar Hawaii customer that has issues with their service, please that a moment and tell me the issues you had.

Competence

The facts contained in this blog are strictly in the public interest to share with consumers my experience in process of the purchasing a residential solar system.  Consumers need to be aware that not all companies who sell and install these systems are created equal.  For the most part, one will find honest, reputable licensed contractors, who provide a quality product with quality service.  It’s the shoddy “cowboy” contractors, even though they are licensed, who care more about how much they can get from the consumer while providing the least.

Even though consumers follow all the guidelines and plentiful advice to prevent getting ripped off, it still happens.  One of the best ways to combat this problem is for them to publicly share their experiences.  For the readers of such experiences, it provides them with the opportunity to learn the true facts after wading through the often created five-star untraceable reviews so often seen.  It is true that even the leaders in customer service will occasionally have a unsatisfied customer.  The manner in which the company responds to a problem is proof positive of their reputation.  Freedom of choice is an invaluable tool for consumers.  It’s kind of like watching TV . . . if you don’t like what you’re seeing, you can always change the channel.

Is your solar contractor lying to you?

Is your solar contractor lying to you? In my dealings with Pro Solar Hawaii the answer is yes. Here is one example of where Pro Solar Hawaii has lied to me at least twice in one txt on the left.

If you have a situation where your solar contractor is lying to you, the best thing you can do is contact all involved. In my case of the lies told to me by Pro Solar Hawaii there is really maybe 3 lies in one message. ok, 2 for sure,

The first lie is that "you will be locked out of HELCO." The lie was an attempt to coerce me. I assume Pro Solar Hawaii lied to me thinking that I didn't know how easy it was to get an extension. But, I am guessing that most would be scared by this had they not known about the extension availability for HELCO.

The second lie in this txt is the part of telling me that the BBB contacted HELCO on Pro Solar Hawaii's behalf. Now this is a pretty big lie in an attempt to coerce me. Sounds really scary. no?  But, is it a lie? Did the BBB contact HELCO?

BBB response to Pro Solar Hawaii's claim: "I had reviewed the case notes and confirmed with Lorie as well that BBB did not contact HELCO about this."

Well now, isn't that special?  I don't guess that the BBB has also lied to me about contacting HELCO. Would you believe Pro Solar Hawaii or the BBB in my position on this matter? If Pro Solar Hawaii is lying to me on something this big, what else have/are they lying about? As if I don't already know..

This brings us to Pro Solar Hawaii's third assumed lie to me. "Our business is booming" At the point of this statement I had no reason to doubt it. But ya see, Pro solar Hawaii wants to claim in their lawsuit that their business was hurt. Were you lying then, or are you lying now?

In the end, if you think your solar installer is lying to you, just like I thought Pro Solar Hawaii was lying to me. Contact everyone. Leave no stone unturned!

Pro Solar Hawaii sues consumer for negative review.

What a wonderful country is America! We have the First Amendment which allows consumers to publish negative reviews of companies/contractors which have given them inferior and/or faulty service. The most reputable of these will immediately strive to do whatever is necessary to make corrections. The least reputable will file a lawsuit against the consumer for their negative review claiming their business has been affected. Seems to me a negative review would not be necessary if nothing improper was done in the first place!

The Truth Is Absolute.

But, Pro Solar Hawaii by filing a laughable lawsuit against me for defamation shows me that they fall in the "least reputable" category. But, as a consumer/ customer of Pro Solar Hawaii, I am going to post my review, and my clearly visible proof of the work that Pro Solar Hawaii provided me. This work is without question not what was approved in the architect's plans by the county. I thereby not only have the damage I have shown in other posts. I now have Pro Solar Hawaii's admission of their incompetent quality of service and workmanship in their lawsuit. Sadly, it appears that the story on their part has changed from what was reported before. Or, not so sad for me.

Why -  Pro Solar Hawaii is not only suing me for my blogs. NOPE. They want to sue me for my post to Yelp and other reviews online of the service Pro Solar Hawaii offers. Believe it or not. I have also made Yelp aware of this matter. Will also be contacting all the places I have left a review of Pro Solar Hawaii and let them all know that Pro Solar Hawaii is trying to shut me up for the reviews I have left of them.

As far as I am concerned, This will be a great way to have Pro Solar Hawaii swear to tell the truth and have it proved, in a court of law no less, that they lied to the court. Because, once its proved without a shadow of a doubt, that you lie to the court once, everything else you say becomes suspect.
